Quick Start Guide:
•Go to www.polkast.com on your home computer to get the Polkast homebase app.
•Compatibility: Windows 7, XP, or Vista; Mac OS X 10.6 or higher, iOS 5 or higher, Android, Kindle Fire, Linux, and select NAS devices.
•Log in with the same username and password on all Polkast apps.
•The computer must be on, connected to the Internet and not in sleep mode to fetch files not stored in cache.
Permissions Needed by Polkast for Android:
• ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE and INTERNET: to detect network state and changes in order to provide the fastest connection to your computer
• CAMERA and RECORD_AUDIO: to allow you to capture photos or record videos from Polkast application and upload them to your computer
• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, STATUS_BAR and VIBRATE: to download files to SD card and notify you when your downloads are completed
• READ_CONTACTS: to let you select email addresses from your address book when you share or send a file via Polkast
• READ_PHONE_STATE: to detect incoming calls and pause the Polkast music player
